This shelby mustang gt is a great diecast model. It is something to be careful with and is fragile. Has small pieces. It is something to just observe and not so much to play with. Keep in good shape.

Mustang Moon is really good. I'm interested in photographing horses so I can relate to Sam in alot of these books. I can perfectly visoualize the picture Sam takes of Hammer at Gold Dust Ranch. Exciting and interesting.

This is one of many Phantom Stallion books. I would say it's my favorite one so far. The reason this is my favorite book is because I like action books, and horse books. This story has both. This story is about a girl named Sam and her old horse the phantom(Blackie). Mr. Solcum was accusing the phantom of stealing his new filly. Sam knew that the phantom had nothing to do with it because a blue roan had come and stole her gram's horse, Sweetheart. Can Sam find Sweetheart and the other horses that are missing. I would recommend this book to people who like horses and adventures. I wouldn't recommend this book to boy because it has a lot of girl things in it like crushes and some stuff like that.

Mustang Moon is probably one of my favorite PS books. It's got such a great and different story line then the others. Linc Slocum is out to get the Phantom-anyway he can. He buys this fancy appaloosa named Hotspot and then this stallion comes and starts stealing all these mares, Hotspot to name one and Sweetheart too. Sam knows it's not the Phantom but Linc tries to prove it-even posting an award for the capture of him! Sam has to prove that the Phantom is not stealing the mares!

I love all of the books except #3 because she lets a bratty girl train her horse. This book is awsome. Every book has an adventure especially number 1 "The Wild One". I love these books and I recommend them to anybody who loves horses. I recommend them to 11 and up becauseyounger children won't understand the amazingness of this book. Do not read this if you don't like horses. You don't have to love them but don't hate them or you won't understand the girl's deep love for the horses. I love horses and would have done everything she did to save them. I'm currently on number 7 and I just bought number 8. I have yet to read it.

Before I start, I want to mention that I borrowed both the Chiltons and Haynes manual for the 05-07 Mustang before I purchased my own Haynes manual. I noticed the Chiltons had more pages because of a larger font size with more character and paragraph spacing. The content, however, was identical to the Haynes. Overall, I recommend the Haynes because it is less expensive and I like the format better. In terms of contact, do not buy the Haynes expecting full teardowns and descriptions for every major component of the car. The Haynes is really intended for the average car owner that expects to do their own maintenance and intermediate-level repairs. Contrary to what the cover says, you won't find full instructions for every part of the car. The manual gearbox and limited slip differential have hardly a mention in the guide. The GT500 isn't really covered, and neither is the front lower A-arm brace that was already used on 2005-up convertibles. This lower A-arm brace is conveniently missing from the Helm factory service manual as well. I recommend buying this guide to have as a companion for your vehicle in the event you want to do preventative maintenance or simple to intermediate level repairs. If you want to do expert-level repairs, expect to pay big bucks for the Helm factory service manual and keep in touch with Internet-based car enthusiast communities such as TheMustangSource or Stangnet.

This book provides many of the repairs a usual owner will do. I have been a fan of the Haynes Repair Manuals for a while.

It's not like the real, honest to goodness Ford Shop Manual. I wouldn't go into an engine rebuild with only this book! But for general upkeep and repairs it's a VERY good investment. if you're a guy who takes care of your own car you really should have this on the shelf. Other reviews are right on the money, paper quality and construction doesn't seem as good as the "good ol' days" but for a shop reference it's fine. And it's not so expensive that you'll worry about getting it full of grease. As one reviewer mentioned it does NOT include information for the Shelby GT500 models and this is clearly stated on the back cover of the book.

The cover says "All Models" but it does not cover the GT500 model with 5.4L motor. Not even a mention of it. Some of the chassis information would be common and probably most of the electrical. But none of the drivetrain or brakes would be identical to the other models.

For my previous car chrysler neon i got the haynes and the chilton and sometimes it helps one has a better explanation then the other. So this time i took also both books but now the are nearly the same. My advice take the chilton.

Purchased it for my nephew who is a Mustang lover. It arrived quickly, and he opened the package on X-Mas morning. He is very impressed with the articles and photos. Said it was the best book on Mustangs that he has ever read, and he is a very hard person to get presents for. I really lucked out this time, now I'll have to start figuring out what to get him for next X-Mas.
